Line mates with Richard ‘Hubby’ Ferrer at the Taylors Lakes Mediocre Ducks, Luke ‘Moose’ Morrison was overlooked by many teams during the ’07 Expansion Draft due to his excessive penalty minutes and anger management issues. The Rudderz, looking to cement themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the league, drafted Moose with their second pick (35th overall). They were well rewarded for this leap of faith, with Moose picking up the Chuck Norris Trophy (best defender) in his first two seasons with the club.
A fast skating two-way defenseman, Moose was the first Rudderz D man in history to record 100 points for the club. If it wasn’t for the intensive anger management classes and extensive transcendental meditation sessions he undertakes away from the rink, Moose probably would have been the first Rudder to amass 100 PIM’s as well.
