Bio
Zac ‘Taco’ Jasper was a standout player with his junior team, the Hawthorn Brown Hawks, and was drafted by the Rudderz in the 2007 expansion draft (5/265). A solid, stay at home defenseman, Taco has been known to jump in on offensive plays when given the chance.
Whereas most of the Rudderz Defensive unit tend to play a more ‘crush the opposition at all costs’ style of play, Taco’s preference to play a more skill oriented game has resulted in him winning the ‘Lady Boy Trophy’ (least PIMS) a record three times for the club (tied with Richard ‘Hubby’ Ferrer).
Scandal erupted in late 2008 when Taco was a healthy scratch from a Rudderz B grade derby game, sighting ‘making tacos’ as his excuse for missing the contest. Rudderz management stripped Taco three rudderz and a left handed stranger from his salary as punishment for his absence.
